This device features 12 bit encoding consisting of 8 address bits and 4 data bits. HT12A has positive data code polarity. The IC has a built-in oscillator and provides a 38kHz carrier for infra-red systems. In addition, it has a low power and stand-by current requirement, and a high noise immunity. Ideal for burglar and car alarm systems, garage door controllers, smoke and fire alarm systems, cordless telephones, etc. |
